Elevating crane transportation

Asstra Transport AG Services and transportation peculiarities:
Organization of transportation started with examination of all the drafts and specifications for the transported crane. Analysis of these documents is necessary in order to choose correctly the specialized vehicle.
The following transport was used for this transportation:
- 3-axle low-bed semitrailer Faymonville with unfastened fly jib (front part of the trailer) with adjustable loading height of the platform 0,3-0,5 m, owned by “AsstrA Polska” (branch-office in Poznan, Poland)
- Scania artic with axle configuration of 6×4, owned by “AsstrA Polska” and foreign enterprise “BTL-Beltransline” (Belarus)
The order had been executed in 2 steps:
- provision of the tractor-trailer for loading in Germany, the loading itself and delivery to the base of “AsstrA Polska” in Poznan (Poland)
- provision of 3-axle artic of “BTL-Beltransline” foreign enterprise to the base of “AsstrA Polska” and delivery of trailer with cargo to Vitebsk for unloading
Before the arrival for loading the specialists of “AsstrA Polska” Poznan and “BTL-Beltransline” beforehand had ordered all necessary special permits and cargo pilot convoy through the transit countries. The specialized tower for the load lifting of high voltage wires and cables for passing through the territory of Vitebsk city (Belarus).
Transportation peculiarities:
Unfastening of the front part of the semitrailer (fly jib) and ability of independent entry of the cargo to be loaded is the constructional peculiarity of the semitrailer used in this transportation.
